Look at what the little girl found at the lake? It was on the shore so we really do not know how it got there.. She thought she was somebody standing on it.. It didn't take long for her to give up playing on it though and get back to bothering Louie and I..

Me too Dad!

Louie got a little lovin from Dad also after he did a great job of herding those sheep. He doesn't do that crazy grunting like the girl does..
We have a very wet morning here today. It rained all night. This AM we really didn't want to go out and do our business but Mom was a real sport and went out in the rain with us. You know it is much easier to do your business with a chaperone.

Oh that feels so good Dad!

Callie gets rewarded for a job well done after a great job of herding.. She is so goofy she grunts like a pig when Dad rubs her tummy. How embarrassing is that?
We are having a great weekend. Yesterday to the lake and then today herding. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Shake it!

Oh yes Mom was off today so off to the lake we went.. Mom got a good picture of me shaking.. As you can see there is a lot of water in a heeler..
Callie and Louie decided to stay clear..
We sure hope that Mom takes us back to the lake tomorrow.. It is supposed to be another nice day Mom!!

We're Happy!

Dad took a picture of us while we were all at the lake last Sunday. As you can see we are all panting so mom has us tired out.. Oh those are Mom's feet in the picture. We aren't really good at all staying put when she tries to take our picture.. We tend to follow her and not listen or see the stay sign..

The little pest couldn't wait until she got out of the water to shake. What is up with her. She is getting water in my ear!! See what I have to put up with when there are "Reds" around!
Oh I did really well with those other sheep. It was so windy out that Dad had to hold the gate open and those silly sheep took off to the other end of the field. Dad told me to go get them and I brought them right back to him and put them in. He said even Lori was surprised..

I got her!

As you can see Louie has got the little one again. But she really doesn't see to impressed with him.
It is almost as if she is saying "let me go"

I got to go with Dad today to herd some different sheep. Mom is posting for me since we are not home yet. It looks like Dad forgot the camera though so sorry no pictures..

Here he comes Mom!

We herded that bird right to Mom and look at the picture she got. Isn't he beautiful? The 2 reds did a great job.. Mom thinks the bird is called and egret. What a funny name for a bird..
They sure had a lot of fun chasing it whatever it is called..

Beautiful day today it was actually hot if you weren't in the shade. We did get over to the park but the boy scouts were there and Mom doesn't trust the red ones and kids so no time off the leash. They just want to make friends!! Mom says she doesn't like looking like an idiot yelling frantically at 2 deaf dogs..

1/2 a Day!

It was such a beautiful day today, Mom took a 1/2 day, whatever that means.. Anyway she came home early and this is where we ended up. It was around sixty degrees but that doesn't stop Heeler's from going swimming. There was a lot of birds at the lake that needed chasing too. Mom will post them later....

Louie did a good job so he got some lovin from Dad.
You can see how much he was enjoying it. Oh ya Dad a little more to the right!!
Today is a Windsday. The wind is just a wipping out there. Some of the neighbors have lost some trees but ours are still good..

Louie got to herd too but he just couldn't understand what Dad was trying to tell him. Dah Dad, deaf dog. He doesn't hear you. Remember first you have to get him to look at you..
Louie did ok herding the sheep with Dad. Mom was content to let him just chase the sheep off the leash but Dad thought he needed to be a little bit more in control.
Callie says thanks for all the Barkday wishes. She didn't realize how many blogger friends she had in such a short time..

Guess what?

Callie is one year old today. As you can see she still hasn't grown into those huge ears of hers. Dad says they are big but she has no network since she is deaf.

I got to herd sheep too!

This is me doing an awesome job herding those sheep. I was doing my fetch. Dad was in front of the sheep so you can't see him but I am right where I was supposed to be. We were practicing my outrun but it kind of confused me. I didn't know why Dad kept telling me to go out?? I was supposed to go around to the front of the sheep and turn them..

Callie is doing it!

We had a great time herding today. Callie had a go at it. As you can see she is one fast heeler! We need to get a bit more control out of her but she has really good instinct. It seemed she knew what to do better than Dad did.
We had a beautiful day. The sun was shinning and none of that nasty wind..

Water fun..

Sure wish we were at the lake today but no that nasty Mother Nature has decided to put Spring on the back burner. We have like 40 degrees out and the wind is blowing. Of course we don't mind but Mom and Dad think it is cold for some reason. Where are their fur coats?
No herding today perhaps tomorrow. We sure hope it warms up a bit or at least the wind dies down..

Louie got the stick!

Louie jacked the stick from me again. As you can see I let him have it. He thought he was somebody.. Mom laughs because he jacks it and runs way up on the beach with it and drops it. She has to chase after him to get it to throw it for me again..
It got cold here again in Texas. We have heard that the snow is blowing in other places in the US. Guess Spring really isn't in the air yet..

Whole lot of shaking going on!

That pup doesn't even wait until she gets out of the water to start shaking.. She really likes the water as you can tell..
It was rainy again today.. Still threatening more rain right now..
We have some exciting news though. We get to go herding on Saturday. Oh ya sheep. Lori got rid of all her goats but she has lots of lambs. Of course we can't herd them yet..

Water sports!

Both Callie and I were after the stick. Mom thought we looked like a couple of submarines here. As you can see I got a whole body length on her. I am afraid that someday really soon she will be just as fast as I am..
It threatened rain again today but by the time mom got home we had a beautiful day. No rain for Dad's small garden..

We're flying!

The little pup is at it again.. I got it though and she doesn't have a chance..
We have kind of an overcast day today and very windy. Not sure if it will rain but it sure looks like it...

Smelling the Flowers!

It is beginning to look like Spring here in Texas. Louie found some pretty flowers to smell while we were at the lake yesterday. Of course he wasn't really smelling flowers, as he was looking for some tasty bones.. We do manage to find a few each time we are there. Of course mom follows us saying "yuck"

She's a pest!

Callie was continually trying to take the stick away from me last night. Louie just looks on waiting to see who will snatch it. She still isn't quite big enough to jack it from me though..
Not sure if we will make it to the lake today. It is really nice outside and when that is the case everyone is at the lake. Just no place for 3 wild heeler's to run.

One Wet Blue Man!

Yepper we made it to the lake when Mom got home. We were a bit disappointed at first. There was humans all over fishing.. Mom took us for a long walk trying to wear us out. Finally some of those humans left so our spot was empty. We played in the water for quite some time. Mom says mission accomplished again. We are all napping now although it is just about supper time... We promise not to close our eyes..

Callie the pest!

I went out to get the stick that mom threw and look at what the pest did! She wasn't going to let me get it.. Does anyone want this cute little pest? Don't tell mom I am trying to get rid of her!!! Ok I am just kidding. She certainly does keep things interesting..

I got it!!

We had a beautiful day. We went to the lake.. As you can see we got to play in the water.. Callie is so proud she got the stick away from me. Little pest..
It sure was a nice surprise when mom came home. She got out the leashes and off we went..
Right now we are all napping. Mom says it worked. Not sure what she means by that??

What is it?

While at the lake Mom let us play in some really tall weeds. I of course saw something.. I kept running in and out of the weeds trying to find it again.. I never did find it but not for the lack of trying..
We have a beautiful day today. Finally we have some sun to dry out the backyard..
Dad is busy mowing the yard for the first time of the season. Of course we are all parked on the window seat making sure he does it right...

Who's got who?

We made it to the lake today as you can see. Louie and Callie were playing their usual game of grab the lease only Callie and Louie both have Callie's leash..
We had a bit of excitement while we were working our way to our favorite spot on the other side of the dam. Louie and Callie went ahead and they spotted a little boy and his dad. Well the little boy decided to run when he saw them and of course they thought he wanted to play. Mom quickly yelled at the kid not to run. What good would it do for mom to yell at the 2 deaf reds.. I had a good sniff of their tackle box and left a little pee-mail. Mom quickly gathered us all up and left.. Sure hope that little bi-ped didn't leave any pee-mail of his won..

On wet pup!

Mom got this picture of Callie after she had been playing in the water. She looks like she is trying to think of what to do next.. Perhaps jack my stick again? Now that is one wet dog..

Bird hunting!

Mom look at the bird! Can we take him home? Hey you reds you have to catch him first! We tried are hardest to catch that bird but he was just to fast. He had an advantage, he could fly. Heeler's don't fly..
We are on our 3rd day of rain today. Dad the house husband has been trying to clean the floor all day but he finally just gave up.. To many heeler footprints.

See how deep in the water I am? Those reds won't dare come out this far. They just stand in the shallow water and wait for me. They are both pests..

Finally a front shot!

This is the same hill I was going down when Mom took that nasty butt shot of me. Don't you like this one a lot better? As you can see I have already been swimming. I am a bit damp! Oh the deaf red heelers, I think I have escaped from them... They are still up on the hill trying to figure out how to get down all the rocks to where Dad is.. Dah we aren't mountain goats!

Look at all the tall grass we found while at the lake..
There has to be some really good treasures in there. Maybe we should go get Dad and his metal detector?? Callie that metal detector won't find bones!!

We got to play in the water yesterday at the lake. Same thing going on, I get the stick and the reds try to jack it from me.. Come on you two I just want to get the stick myself...

I got her!

While at the lake Callie decided to chase a few birds. Well it looked like the perfect time to play zoomies through the water to me.. She is pretty fast but I caught her.. We did manage to get a bit muddy and really wet.
We have a nice day again today. Perhaps we will get to the lake later.. Dad is still digging in the dirt hoping for some real treasure besides just coins.. Of course we don't mind anything to get to the lake.

Three Happy Heeler's!

Ya Mom got her puter back and we got to go to the lake. Mom thought this was a cute picture of all our tails! As you can see Louie is making sure that Callie stays in line..
Mom is sorry she hasn't been around to everyones blogs. She will try and get there real soon..

Well ............

Dad is still working on mom's computer, we are getting close to being up and running full speed again. Dad said something about moving 60 gigs worth of photos onto DVD's so if the repair fails Mom won't loose our baby pictures, so bare with us, Mom should have new photos tomorrow as dad said something about the lake.

Mountain dogs?

We found this nifty hill to climb on while at the lake yesterday.. We checked it for all the usually smells and I left a little bit of pee-mail there.. Nothing to exciting was found.
