Life at the pool!

We went down to Sis's new place last night to watch the fireworks. There was good food and of course a bit of fireworks..
We just kind of lounged around the pool. Callie got wet but not me or Louie. Heeler's weren't supposed to swim in cement ponds we are lake dogs. Come on mom what were you thinking...

They got the final coat of finish on the floor yesterday. Today Mom and Dad said we can lay on it as long as we don't play zoomies..
Dad says now the fun part comes. We need to clean up all the dust and install the molding.. Mom loves the molding part. She enjoys painting. Funny old woman who enjoys that?
Happy 4th of July everyone. Not really sure what the plan is. Maybe we will go to Sis's new place and swim in the cement pond...

The big Splash..

Mom got this while we were at the lake yesterday.. That little girl has no fear.. She had the nerve to splash me while going for the stick..
Yesterday those worker men came with this super noisy machine. Of course the Red's didn't hear a thing.. They sanded and sanded and then put the first coat of sealer on the floor. Now we are waiting for them to arrive to put on the final coats.. Hurry up guys so this stuff drys. We don't like hanging out in Mom and Dad's room all the time..
Last night we got to walk over to Sis's new house. Well she is renting it and it has a pool. Ya more water. Of course Louie was the first to fall in and boy that kid can swim. Callie was next leaning over the edge a plop in she went. We knew she could swim. Of course Dad had to grab her and pull her out.. I managed to jump in with biped Toph. Not to sure if I liked it though.. Maybe next time we will be a bit braver..

Sunrise at the lake

We got to the lake really early today. It was like 6:30.. As you can see the sun was just waking up...
Dad stopped and got Mom a latte at the Starbucks place.. Guess you would call it a date with the Three Happy Heeler's..
There was no one at the lake at that time so we had the lake all to ourselves.. We did see some turkey's on the way in but they were gone by the time Mom got back to where they were with us..



Louie is again jacking the stick from us. He never gets very wet but he always brings the stick back to Mom. The little girl always goes after it but doesn't bring it back. When will she ever learn. You have to bring the stick back if you want Mom to throw it again...

It's mine!

It's mine little girl. You are not going to jack it this time.. If I keep it up really high there is no way you can get it..
Mom wants to thank everyone for the good wishes on her eyes. Norwood had it right. It is quite hard being the Blueman having to take care of 2 deaf dogs and one blind old lady... I did a fine job though...

The toad..

Norwood, look what we found in our backyard.. We knew you would be proud. Louie is goofy he always has to lick the toad and then he starts drooling all over.. Mom isn't sure if he will ever learn not to mess with them..

More fun at the lake..

As you can see we had fun at the lake the other day. Sure wish we could have fun there again today..
It rained a bit today so it is not nearly as hot as usual..
Mom went to the eye doctor today and the dialed up her eyes so she promises to get around to seeing everyone tomorrow.. She isn't seeing well right now...
