Morning at the lake!

We had another beautiful morning at the lake. We were busy watching the sun come up.. Well Mom was watching the sun come up we had other things in mind..
Hey where is that Louie.. I think he has spotted something??
Yes Louie is after that bird. Doesn't he know that birds fly and there is no way he will catch it?
Well we got Mom up at 3 AM but she insisted we all go back to bed.. About 5 AM we decide it had to be time to get up and go to the lake.. Dad wasn't to keen on the 5 AM wake up. We decide maybe a little roaching in the bed would change his mind.. Silly Dad it is the weekend time for fun at the lake...

Here he comes Mom!

We herded that bird right to Mom and look at the picture she got. Isn't he beautiful? The 2 reds did a great job.. Mom thinks the bird is called and egret. What a funny name for a bird..
They sure had a lot of fun chasing it whatever it is called..

Loons, loons and more loons

While at the Lake on Sunday I heard this wild racket and then I saw them. Birds, birds and more birds came flying over. Dad said they were loons. Boy would I love to chase them but they all came down on the Lake way off shore. How did they know I was watching them?
