Louie, it was here yesterday...
Yepper our temps warmed up so all the snow is gone. Mostly we have mud out there.. Of course the weatherman is saying more sleep on Wednesday..
We are Happy Heeler's today.. The Packer's hung in there and won the Superbowl. What a great game..

More Snow today..

We woke to about 3 inches of snow this am and it continued most of the day.. We ended up with about 6 inches.. Now the sun is out and it all is melting away. We need to get Mom out there to play some more before it is all gone..

Louie, I just like to feel this stuff between my toes...
We had a trying day yesterday. The power went out about 7 AM and didn't come back on until 9:30. Of course they called it rolling blackouts because of all the power consumption with the freezing temperatures.. We were told that it would last about 15 minutes. Well they lied. 2.5 hours of course the temp in the house dropped to 63 degrees. Mom was bundled up in quilts and we were doing our best to keep her warm.. After the power did come on we had no cable so Mom and Dad's attempt to work from home didn't work. More blackouts occurred every few hours during the day.. The cable did not return until 10:30 last night..
Tonight we are supposed to get more snow so Mom and Dad will probably attempt to work from home again since the roads are still quite icy..

Yepper we had rain which turned into sleet about 3:00 AM. The sleet was almost like hail so us Heeler's were not so keen on that stuff hitting us while we were out trying to do our business..
Then later it turned into snow fun for us.. Of course the temps are only like 18 degree's with wind blowing about 40 to 50 mph. That weatherman say it might even be below zero in the morning. Now this is NOT Texas weather..

Zooming for Mom...

Yepper Mom got home late on Friday night. We were so excited. Lots of jumping and wiggling..
It was nice having Dad home to ourselves but there is nothing like having Mom home to follow around..
Mom had rain almost every day she was in Vancouver. Luckily we had a nice weekend with warm temps are sunshine. Of course tomorrow we are supposed to get freezing rain. Mom has already told us she would stay home with us if that happens..

The reds were at it again, Callie making sure Louie knows she is in charge while mom is out and about.

The heelers did manage some zooming today, still pretty subdued for this bunch. Louie was in the Louie zone today, not much phases him, just kind of stands or moves a bit while the world flies by ..............

Mom arrives tomorrow night, bet dad has plenty of room on his side of the bed ...........hahahahahahaha

Tail thing again

Actually, Dad thinks it is part of a conspiracy,

Louie was in the corner doing his tail thing while Dad was eating, Dad was thinking "chasing the tail in the corner = catching tail / less room for the tail to get away." makes sense to him ................

HOWEVER, as Dad was moving the camera around he found Callie sneaking up on his supper, now judge for yourself, Dad doesn't think a dog in the world would like his sandmichs ............ but he doesn't know all dogs tastes.

Dad learned from last night he needs to "wait" for his video to be processed, before he decides to post, he is a bit impatient at times.

Any who, Louie always seems to know when to act the "clown," never when expected, but always brings a smile to ones face. As you can see, it is the "Tail" thing again, it was "following" him ............. excuse the "lighting" it was early this morning and Dad hadn't had his coffee yet ...........

Mom left us

Mom is off to Vancouver again leaving us stuck with Dad.

She was pretending nothing was going on but we knew better when the backpack came out of the closet. So in attempt to guilt her into staying home, we made sure to sleep tight to her letting her know exactly what she would be missing while off on business .............

So all of our blogging friends are stuck with dad for the week, maybe a video or two coming ................

We had that really cool morning. 24 degrees this am but luckily no wind so it didn't feel that cold. Of course it warmed up into the 40's this afternoon so we could get a bit of watching and zooming in...

Mom worked from home today and as you can see we were hard at work too..
Mom here this was about 7:00 this AM morning. I was busy working and the Heelers were all on the couch at the same time. Each had their own spot scoped out..
We have a cold day, 37 degree but the wind is blowing 35 mph so it feels a lot colder. There was even rain early but now the sun has decided to show its face but the wind has not quit. The weatherman says 20 degrees in the AM. That is cold for Texas..

We did go herding yesterday but no picture. It was rainy and yucky out there. Mom didn't think it was good weather for her camera.. We had a great time as you can see it tired us out.. Oh Mom wasn't able to get a picture of Louie since Momma's boy sleeps in her lap...
After herding Mom and Dad watched football again. How boring can they be...
