It was cold this am 15 degrees but the sun has been out all day and the snow is beginning to melt now. All our fun white stuff will surely be gone tomorrow..

More Snow today..

We woke to about 3 inches of snow this am and it continued most of the day.. We ended up with about 6 inches.. Now the sun is out and it all is melting away. We need to get Mom out there to play some more before it is all gone..

Louie, I just like to feel this stuff between my toes...
We had a trying day yesterday. The power went out about 7 AM and didn't come back on until 9:30. Of course they called it rolling blackouts because of all the power consumption with the freezing temperatures.. We were told that it would last about 15 minutes. Well they lied. 2.5 hours of course the temp in the house dropped to 63 degrees. Mom was bundled up in quilts and we were doing our best to keep her warm.. After the power did come on we had no cable so Mom and Dad's attempt to work from home didn't work. More blackouts occurred every few hours during the day.. The cable did not return until 10:30 last night..
Tonight we are supposed to get more snow so Mom and Dad will probably attempt to work from home again since the roads are still quite icy..

Yepper we had rain which turned into sleet about 3:00 AM. The sleet was almost like hail so us Heeler's were not so keen on that stuff hitting us while we were out trying to do our business..
Then later it turned into snow fun for us.. Of course the temps are only like 18 degree's with wind blowing about 40 to 50 mph. That weatherman say it might even be below zero in the morning. Now this is NOT Texas weather..

We still have a just a little bit of snow left. We had 24 degrees this AM with lots of wind. Mom wasn't to keen on staying outside with us when she got home. Something about her not having a fur coat like us.. We did manage to play a bit of zoomies in spite of her complaints..

Yepper it is still cold out there today. The snow started to melt yesterday but the temps turned colder over the night and today so we still have some snow to play in.. To bad this stuff couldn't last a while longer..

Well Khyra you are going to be so jealous, we got snow today. It began with huge flake so it sure didn't take long to get our backsand the ground white.. Iit started around11:30 and now at 2:30 it is already beginning to melt off the trees. We are sure enjoying it while we can though..

Wisconsin and Mom's Christmas Surprise...

Mom had a wonderful surprise today.. Brother Toph said her present would be delivered on the 24th. Well it certainly was. Well it goes like this..
First he sent a picture text of Dad's present then he sent a picture text of Mom's present. Well it was the front of the house.. Mom was so happy she cried and gave him huge hugs.. She says it was the best present she had ever gotten for Christmas.. Maybe tomorrow she will actually get a picture of Toph and us to share...
Merry Christmas Eve everyone. Mom hopes your Christmas is as good as hers..

Well the snow lasted maybe till noon yesterday.. Mom and Dad enjoyed throwing snowballs for us the catch. We enjoyed the eating more than the catching...

Yes, we got snow in Texas last night. There were huge flakes.. It had rained most of the day so it only stuck to the grass. Not much for accumulation like our Northern pups get but definitely enough for Heelers to play in...

Well the snow is all gone.. That was shorted lived. Now the backyard is a swamp.. Mom is saying she needs to clean the floors but she is afraid Dad will play in the mud and track in all back in. We need to train that Dad to wipe his feet before he comes in...
