I got it!

Mom through the stick pretty deep this time but I got my courage up and swam out and got that stick. Mom laughed when I stuck my head in the water and grabbed it.. See I am a brave dog!

Of curse Louie was waiting for me almost on shore to try and jack it from me...

Look at what else we found at the lake!

We also found a frisbee at the lake. I managed to keep it away from Louie for a little while. But he soon grew tired of the bomerang that we found and he was busy trying to jack my new toy.. Mom continually tried to keep him interested in his toy but mine always seemed more interesting to him. What is a big brother to do?

Look what Louie found at the lake. Yepper it is a boomerang. Some kid must have just left this perfectly good toy lay. What is up with those humans? Louie was only interested in it for a short period of time. After that mom would throw it and she would have to go get it herself..

Cool Drink on a Hot Day!

It was very warm at the lake yesterday so we just couldn't resist jumping in for a nice refreshing drink. The lake is still up as you can see so we had to find a place that wasn't to muddy.

We managed to get to the lake 2 times yesterday but by afternoon everyone had decided to go there to so there was really no where for 2 heelers to run without getting very muddy...

Here's that Louie again waiting for me to get the stick.. Mom through the stick pretty deep into the water and I really don't like to swim for it so I usually do thing! Just stand there and bark at it. You know if you bark at it long enough it will come to you!!!

It was a beautiful day at the lake today. We saw lots of birds and many people out fishing both on shore and in boats..

Best Friends!

It may seem like Mom posts a lot of pictures of us fighting but we actually are just wrestling like any other brothers would.

Here you can see we just enjoy our time at the lake together.. Wondering around checking out all the smells and playing in the water.. We truly are best friends..

Our training is going well. Louie continues to amaze the instructor. We all think she is surprised at how quickly he catches on.. But what is to be expected Blue Heelers are super smart... They just need to be made to think they have a job to do...

We are off to our training class again tonight. We just can't wait till Dad gets home so we can leave..

Oh we also always get fed early on Tuesdays. Another thing to look forward to....

Hot at the lake!

It was pretty warm at the lake so we had to stop and get a quick drink before Mom took us off on another walk. Mom loves taking us for walks and taking pictures in the process. Some times we make it very difficult for her to get pictures especially if she is trying to shoot bird.. We kind of have a tendency to chase them. Poor Mom but it's all about fun!!

The water had finally came down enough so we could get out on that pier again. Someone had been out there fishing last weekend when we were there so there was lots of things to smell. I think they had chicken on the barbie!!!

This weekend it is supposed to be cool in the mornings. That will be ok as long as that nasty wind doesn't blow...

Where are we going?

Another fun day at the lake. Louie is again trying to follow me where ever I go. No matter how hard I try he is always following me.. Don't we look happy together?

Cat-dog!

Louie has this move down to a Tee. He like to pounce on me like a cat.. As you can see I am trying to get away..

We had our obedience training last night and mom and dad were so proud of us. I have my stay down really good and Louie won the "come" contest. The lady also showed us how to crawl. We both did an excellent job...

Professional Wrestling anyone?

Just a short one today. Mom says we have to go get learned.. This is obedience training night. We have been practicing everyday so we can show off when we get there...

Louie was practicing his karate on me.. Something about Praying Mantis.. Doesn't he look silly? Needless to say he lost again... hehe

We had a wonderful day at the lake. It was a bit windy but it was a warm breeze.. Today it is 77 and Mom and Dad had to go to work so no lake..

Rainy day here in Texas. We are going over to visit Louie's sister Baby Love and we can hardly wait. We are sure she will be excited to meet us again.

Although it was cold and windy we still had to get into the water. What was mom thinking taking us to the lake and not expecting us to get wet?
As you can see Louie isn't really graceful when he is running through water...

It is really nice here today. Actually it is almost 90 degrees.. We sure wish Dad would have got home early...

As you can see these guys didn't mind that the water was almost over the road. They thought it just was more water for them to swim around in..

We have a nice day today. It is almost 80 degrees out but again we have that terrible wind.

We are running late tonight, mom & dad went to the first "obedience class" tonight, we get to go along next week !!! After we are through the "obedience classes," Gus gets to move on to "herding classes."

Our lake levels are again getting high and we haven't hit the rainy season yet, if you look between the trees one can see the 4 posts of the concrete pier we were standing on last weekend.

Another Windsday at the Lake!

We did manage to get out to the lake on Sunday but it was really windy as you can see from the waves. The wind was so cold we didn't say long. Mom took us for a long walk and then we headed back to the house.

There were people at the lake trying to have their Easter picnics but they too sat in the vehicles while the Dad's were busy cooking on the grill. Way to cold for a picnic...

What's up there?

Mom caught me looking again. I heard something up there but I just couldn't see it. Mom thinks possible it was a squirrel. Of course Louie didn't hear a thing again.. He just keeps his nose to the ground trying to pickup a scent. For what we will never know...

We went out on this pier and were checking out the view.. Mom caught us both being very calm. I know you find that hard to believe with all the action photo's mom has taken.. Of course we have just come back from a very long walk with mom so that maybe why..

We have a beautiful day again today. It said 74 in mom's bug when she came home.. They are predicting rain again for the weekend. Dad thinks with all the rain we had they may close the parks. We sure hope not...

It has been raining all day. The yard is a real swamp. Hopefully it will stop raining soon since Mom is really tired of it...

Very Windy Day at the Lake.

Yepper we made it to the lake yesterday but it was so windy. You can see the waves behind us crashing on the shore. You would have thought we were at the ocean.
We saw ducks but there were having an extremely hard time out there swimming. They just seemed to enjoy riding the waves though.

Helping Dad

Yep, we got to go to the Lake last night. It was really nice outside. Spring is definitely on it's way.

Dad said the digging was pretty easy so we thought maybe he needed a little bit of help. He really wasn't to thrilled since our collars have a bit of metal in them and make his detector beep..
