As you can see in the following photo's, Gus is the perfect watch dog, he sits and WATCHES dad cook. In looking at these photo's, dad is reminded of one of his favorite series of Road Runner cartoons with Ralph the Wolf and Sam the Sheep Dog. Gus has the perfect Sam the Sheep Dog stance.
So in honor of Warner Brothers and Wylie E. Coyote, dad has decided to subtitle these photos with a couple of the Latin names given to Wylie E. Coyote.
Here we have the common Eatibus anythingus .............
or in this photo we see the rarely witnessed Eatius-slobbius ............
and finally, the nearly extinct Hungrii flea-bagius ..............
