We went down to Sis's new place last night to watch the fireworks. There was good food and of course a bit of fireworks.. We just kind of lounged around the pool. Callie got wet but not me or Louie. Heeler's weren't supposed to swim in cement ponds we are lake dogs. Come on mom what were you thinking...

Don't say that! There is a cement pond next door that I have my eye on (given that momma won't take me to the lake because somebody was murdered there last week - no kidding). Cricky! They weren't murdered during playgroup for goodness sake.

Water is water no matter what holds it, I always say. But true enough, the lake kind of water is better 'cuz it has critter smells and mud. Mud is such a blast.
Just goes to prove that dirty dogs have more fun.

I've never seen a pool....what was a concrete lake like?
Did you have fun watching the fireworks? Mom and i watched them! They were kinda loud but mom was there for me if I got spooked!

looks like you had a nice time anyway - we love the water and spent the whole day yesterday in our pool - i use the stairs sweetie jumps right in - mj fell in and had to be rescued by mommy - he is just learning how to swim
