Mom is getting new hardwood floors put in so Wednesday we had to stay outside until it was just to hot for us. Mom put us in her room and that Louie he just wouldn't quit barking Mom said something about separation anxiety. What ever that means...
Those men made lots of noise with the sawing and the nail guns going. Of course the 2 Red's didn't hear a thing..
They will be back on Thursday for the sanding
and the first coat of sealer.. We probably will end up in Mom and Dad's room again... Friday they come for the final coat.. Then 24 hours without us walking on it. Now how is that going to work? We will have to wait and see...
Mom tried to get a picture of eat one of us on the floor but once again we were not in the posing mood...

Love the blog. Very pretty heelers. I understand about the heat. My border collie loves to play fetch in the pond.
I hope you friends can go play at the lake later!

I am sorry for you. We are getting a new floor in the kitchen and new cabinets so I am afraid of whats coming for me. I do not like people in my house besides my family EVER!
licks and sniffs, Sasha
New wood floors are cool!
We agree with Mack that they are much better than carpet.
It's sooo hot AND it even sounds hot outside!
Stay cool!

I get that separation anxiety thing, too. I have to be where my mom is. Woo.

Maybe a pool in the back? Sprinklers? It's too hot here even for that. Hardwood floors are nice. You are so lucky.

Hey, consider yourselves lucky. When our floors were done we had to go away to dog jail for three days. Now that's separation.
Slobbers,
Mango
We don't know how you will do that either. We need to have ours refinished but the hardwood is all one continuous area and there is no way in or out of the house without stepping on it. Mom says it could mean a kennel trip:(
Woos, the OP Pack
HARDWOOD FLOORS ARE EASIER TO KEEP CLEAN... WELL... SORTA... but at least if us doggys pee pee on it, it wont stay there FOR EVERS... not like carpet... :)
BOL.

How exciting to get new floors. Uh, I have a little of that separation anxiety too, mom says.

Gus,
Good thing you are there to protect the deaf ones! I bark my head off too when there are strangers in the house. If my mom would let me go, I'd rip 'em to shreds! I may be little, but I am fierce!
Pedro
what!? you cant even walk in your own house for 3 days!? how un fair! I think your humans should take you out to the lake twice a day just for the inconvenience.
kisses,
Iggy
