While at the lake on Sunday we saw this huge bird. Mom said it was just an old buzzard but he so magnificent looking to us. It was very windy out so he had a very hard time flying.. It is windy out again today with thunderstorms in the forecast. I guess it is better than having snow storms..

We love turkey vultures! They have specially designed noses that are hollow around the septum: that lets them be extra-great sniffers. Kind of like canine naturalists!
