We made it to the lake!

We weren't up as early as usual, we thought we would let mom and dad sleep in until 7 AM. We did get to the lake though. We had fun playing in the water and mom took us for a long walk.
Of course the Three Heeler's are napping now. Need to recharge our batteries for tomorrow.. Mom we may get you up earlier so we can watch the sun come up..
We did see this loon at the lake. Isn't he cool? Grandma loves loons, to bad we couldn't get a little closer for her.. You can click on the picture and see him a little bigger..

Mom calls Ammy a "loon" sometimes. Should I send you a picture of her to show your grandma? :)

We knew you would be at the lake today - Mom loves loons, makes her think of that movie she loved with Katherine Hepburn, On Golden Pond.

Glad you had some fun today.

Nice loon! I looks a little different than the loons my mom has seen - mostly in Maine. You could be "On Golden Pond"!

Mom is finally home and I'm back from confinement. As you know, a heeler without a long walk is not a good combination. I was driving around and I saw a GUS wanna be.. Not many blue heelers around here so he really caught my eye. He look just like Gus.. I wish it was you.

Mom has always wished that a loon would visit our pond but it's not deep enough or big enough! Oh well!

Love ya lots

I love the loon. I don't think I have ever seen a loon before. If I did, I didn't know what I was looking at.
