Helping mom with her steps..

Louie is zonked out..
The Blueman sacked out..
Callie girl, looks like she is going to have a bad ear day..
Mom is doing this thing at work called the 10,000 step challenge.. She need to do 10,000 steps in a day. She does the stairs at work to get close to her steps but yesterday she came home and dragged us out on a very long walk. Our tongues were really hanging and she still had 3000 steps left.. She started doing the stairs in the house.. She got 10,581 yesterday.. Today is a new day and more steps.. We are waiting for Dad to get home so we can go for another long walk.. Dad thinks we should just put her pedometer on Callie girl since she does twice as many steps as the men do..

I see lots of recharging going on here!

I think you could just shake that old pedometer up and down and it would be fooled. Much better than actual stepping. Ugh.

Some good pictures of tired but happy pooches. Why don't you all put on some upbeat music and watch Mom dance her step count off the charts!

Way to go Mom-keep up the good work!

Excellent work mom and Heelers! Makes for good sleepies too!

That's a lot of steps but it does make for well-behaved pups.

Good luck with the counting.

You pups are GREAT to help your mom! Hopefully your weather will cool off a little!

Wow. That's a lot of steps. A year ago I didn't have a clue how to climb ONE step. Let alone 10,000. Unimaginable. Think of the glutes she's gonna build up! Wow!

Love, and in awe,

I think my Mom should take a lesson from you and start steppin' around. I'll talk her into buying a pedometer and we'll see what an average day is around her!

Does BlueMan wake up the other dogs, or don't they need waking?

Everyone seems to be very comfortable =)

Sounds like a good idea to us. Why would any human want to do so many steps? Makes us tired just thinking about it.

Maybe you could play the run from the leash game. All you have to do is dance around your Mommy until she takes you to walk. That's what I do, and it seems to work. You might get a couple of extra steps that way.

So many steps
poor mom :(

The hardest part of that would be keeping count! How do you do that?
Just make sure you don't interrupt her when she is on 989!

Oh Yeah ... that's my kind of helping! :-)

Wow, that's a lotta steps! Your mommy must be in excellent shape! Our mommy got tired from just reading your post and she went back to bed!

You may have to use a straight iron on that ear? Ouch!!!

Hmmm, 10,000 steps sounds like an awful lot of steps to take. I could put that pedometer on the little kitten in my dawg house if you want. He's always running back and forth, back and forth, up and down, all over the place. He's still pretty small so he has to take alot of steps to get around. Let me know cause I'd be glad to let Natty help you (maybe he'd leave me alone then!)

Mom sys she's very impressed that your Mom can walk 3 dogs and count her steps at the same time. She's pretty sure she couldn't walk 1 dog and count her steps!
great job helping your Mom!!

Hi H3..
Ohhh you look so sweet. Even with smooched ears. Mom that is great. I love the 10,000 step program. I like dad's idea.. attach the pedometer to callie... hee hee.
