To the lake again!

We went to the lake again yesterday and as you can see we didn't get wet. hehe
Of course today the wind is blowing and the temperature has dropped.. No lake today..
We did see a little armored buddy while on our walk at the lake. I tried to get him but mom didn't think it was a good idea. What does she know.
Yepper it is an armadillo. This is the first one we have seen at the lake. Mom says they are born dead along side the road.. Silly mom..

I'm surprised you went to the lake--must be warmer there. It's 40 degrees here today, way too cold for swimming. We had fun running in the yard. My mom thinks the same about armadillos and skunks, although skunks are born dead in the MIDDLE of the road. Our moms are so nutty.

Some adventure - aren't armadillos sooo cute? You can't bite them because your teeth just slide off, and it makes them very unhappy too. Somehow I thought you heelers were from Oz, but I've never seen one of those here, only in Texas.

Happy Happy New Year - wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009!

I don't think we have those armored dildos here in Master Chew Sits.

We do have mean old snapping turtles, though.

My Momma says that lots of critters like to sleep in the road here too.
