Another Herding Class!

Dad said I did much better today. I am getting better at not bolting after the sheep although I have to try sometime..
Louie still has not quite got the idea although he did get the sheep out of one pen into another with no problems. He even managed to chase after the sheep a bit..

I bet Paris would be scared of sheep! She's such a coward!

Hi Gus,
Chasing sheep seems like a fun thing--as long as you get to cool off in the lake afterwards!

We'd be disasterous around the sheep.

I have no idea what I would do if I ever came across a real sheep ... I hope I wouldn't run the other way, 'cause that would be really embarrassing all this considered !

Cheers

I am supposed to be good at herding sheep but none exist on the island I live on!

I have to admit I a teeny bit afraid of them!

You are such good workers and seem like fast learners. Are you going to have to get a job when this training is done?

Hey Gus, you should never underestimate Louie. I think he know how to herd like a pro but he might just be hiding his potential.

Yeah Gus you're getting better. i told you it just takes a bit of time for us cattle dogs! I went herding today too! Mom and my trainer say my outruns are looking really good but that I need to start driving-and since mom has been telling me to "get out" I don't want to come in on the sheep anymore. Once I get my stated title-we'll be working on that!!

Way to go guys! My mum saw a dog hearding sheep in Chok Chai Farm, Bangkok (check out the pic on my blog (June 4). We have great respect for sheep dogs.
