Callie, can we go home now Mom? I am tired of herding. It is time for my napper..
Gus, I am such a proud pup after my run but I must agree I am a bit tired...
Louie, come on you 2 I am not tired. I want to herd some more sheep..
The Heeler's did nap the rest of the afternoon after we got home from herding. Guess herding makes the Heeler's really well behaved dogs..

Have a good rest now!
We read that some woman was renting a sheep to give her border collie something to do.
Tired heelers are heelers that don;t get into trouble!
Well, you know what they say about a well-exercised pup . . .
And your three so love what they are doing.

Happy tired Heelers! I was sitting in the car outside of a postal store today with my sister and heard some yipping. I looked to the left and lo and behold, there was a fat Blue Heeler sitting in the truck next to me waiting for his owner to come back out of the laundromat next door. I was surprised because I don't see many Heelers around here...this is the second one I've ever seen in my area (third if you count Riley).
Elyse (and Riley)
I bet herding can make for a good nap. If you need a reason.
