As you can see the bestest toy in the backyard isn't always a ball. Dad's water hose is just the thing.. Notice the end has already been chewed off and Dad put a replacement on it. Well that too is missing.. The only thing better than the hose is a hose with the water running...

hose is a great alternative to sticks. No slivers and they last awhile. Plus it's a good way to recycle those old hoses. Kudos to Louie for being environmentally conscious!!!
Watch out for the hoses. You never know where they might wind up.
My favorite toy is pee-wee. Especially when I grab is collar and whiz him around (but momma always bops me on the head if she catches me - party pooper).

Mine love the hose too - with or without water - Woodrow will actually dive into the pool to get to the end - and then swims out of the pool with it in his mouth - so when adding water to the pool i have to keep him in the house
