Callie lost her stick again.. She is one goofy dog. Sticking her head right under the water..
Oh she's got it..
Sorry we haven't been around much. Mom is off to Vancouver tomorrow and is trying to get a bunch of stuff done before she goes..

Sunday Morning at the Lake!

What a beautiful sunrise..
Callie girl decided to stay out of this one.
We had another beautiful morning at the lake.. Not to much excitement. Louie decided to run off again after some humans and mom pursued looking like a crazy lady yelling at a deaf dog... Me, The Blueman decide I should get under her feet as she was running. Well mom took a tumble and she wasn't to happy when I came to her rescue licking her face.. Mom is ok and her camera also survived but we didn't get to play in the water anymore. We did take a nice long walk. We are all napping now so the nap must have done the trick..

Morning at the lake!

We had another beautiful morning at the lake. We were busy watching the sun come up.. Well Mom was watching the sun come up we had other things in mind..
Hey where is that Louie.. I think he has spotted something??
Yes Louie is after that bird. Doesn't he know that birds fly and there is no way he will catch it?
Well we got Mom up at 3 AM but she insisted we all go back to bed.. About 5 AM we decide it had to be time to get up and go to the lake.. Dad wasn't to keen on the 5 AM wake up. We decide maybe a little roaching in the bed would change his mind.. Silly Dad it is the weekend time for fun at the lake...

As you can see the stick is still the most important toy at the lake.. That Louie is at it again. Trying to jack my stick.. I usually let him win just so Mom will throw the stick again..

The little girl spends most of the time in the water when we are at the lake. She loves running through it splashing everyone in her way. Of course the most fun is getting close to Mom and shaking. Hey Mom needs to enjoy the lake too...

What is it?

That little girl is always trying to figure out what I am hearing. Guess that is why she is always watching me..
These are still pictures of us at the lake on Saturday morning. Mom can we get you up early again this coming Saturday? It sure is fun to watch the sunrise..

Blueman Stick?

Look Mom, this is a real Blueman Stick. Yank thought we should really play fetch.. Thanks Yank this is truly a stick fit for the Blueman.
Yes this is Louie with his stick. A very nice stick.. Nice fork in it.. Not a Blueman stick.

Now Callie girl you are getting close to having a Blueman stick. It is definitely a Redchick stick.. Maybe if you would grab it in the middle you wouldn't be stuggling so much..

Watching the sun come up is always the best time at the lake.. Here it is just coming up..

As you can see the bestest toy in the backyard isn't always a ball. Dad's water hose is just the thing.. Notice the end has already been chewed off and Dad put a replacement on it. Well that too is missing.. The only thing better than the hose is a hose with the water running...

Who's Home?

We were outside and I heard something, being the "hearing eye dog" so of course we had to check it out.. Louie doesn't hear it but he takes my lead. Oh brother Toph is home. Come on out Toph and play, it can't be much more that 98 degrees! Great weather for playing fetch..

Just ignore her?

Maybe if I just ignore her she will go away. Hey kid you are getting in my space here. I am just enjoying the sunshine and then you show up. Don't you have better things to do like pester Louie?

Fighting again!

The little girl has jacked Louie's ball again. She enjoys playing kung fu dog with the ball in her mouth. Louie is a good brother he just takes it.. He figures she will give up soon and drop his ball..

This is Mom's 1000 post. She thought she needed to post a picture of each of us so no one would feel left out.. This is me surveying the backyard...
This is Callie chewing on the brush. She thinks if she teases us we will chase her to try and get it from her. Silly girl, it only works with Louie.. Can you say sucker?
Finally Louie licking his chops. Perhaps he is watching the little pest playing with the brush and thinks it might be his turn to chew on it...

I found this nice stick in the lake. It was stuck in the water so I pulled it out. Louie thought it was a good stick. Kind of looked like a bunch of snakes Gus.. Mom wouldn't throw this one for us though. Maybe it was just to water logged and wouldn't fly well..

Walking on water!

Look at me I am walking on water.. The little pest is behind me trying to jack my stick and of course you can see Louie's ears. He is just watching and learning.. Silly Louie wouldn't want to get to wet at the lake...

More fun at the lake..

Those 2 Red's are at it again. Playing zoomies in the lake. Come on you 2 don't you know we are supposed to be chasing sticks.. Not sure who is going to win this head to head match. The little one is pretty fast but Louie is a bit older and more experienced..

Early morning fun.

Can you see the sun coming up as I am chasing the stick? We were at the lake very early this AM. The days are getting shorter since it was still dark when we arrived.. Of course us Heeler's didn't mind, anytime at the lake is a great time...
Mom got a picture just before the sun decided to wake up.. We love the colors.. Mom is getting better at those pictures..
