Started Sheep Trial
I DID IT !!!
I got my first leg on "started sheep" yesterday !!!
I surprised Dad yesterday, as I took it upon myself to circle the herd and keep them tight to him, so tight the sheep were bouncing Dad around pretty hard, typically I fall along side the herd and drive them very nicely, (like in the photo) but not yesterday, I wanted to try something new !!!
Dad says it was not a pretty run by any means, but it was effective, next time I will let him know in advance as to my plans, NOT !!!!
Oh, and don't think sheep herding is always done on bright sun shiny days, it rained all day, it was a tough ride home, Dad really smelled bad.

You done good, Gus!!! I knew you would. The picture shows you looking happy and having fun! Those are my priorities and as long happy and fun is invloved, everything else is gravy.
too bad Dad stunk so bad on the way home...it's the price you have to pay for fun, sometimes.
Congratulations to you and your Dad, Gus!!! Good job even if it was raining. Who cares about pretty? As long as you get the job done and have fun doing it, that is great. I am sure those sheep were impressed by your work.
Your friend,

We're so excited for you, Gus. And we hope that Louie and Callie get the chance to enter an ASCA event as well!

Hi Gus,
OMdoG.. that's a great pic of you in action!! Sorry that you had to put up with your dad's smell on the way home.. heehee...
Great job, Gus! Did you stick your nose out the window the whole way home to avoid the smell?! hehehe

Wow Gus...you're awesome!
yeah Gus!! you're so good. I chased after chickens whilst on vacation and i had a major scolding from the hoomans (nevermind the fact that i was too near the road and scared them half to death with morbid thoughts of what could have been *shiver*). hope to see all 3 of you with the sheeps! yeah!
drooly kisses,
Aki
Congratulations to both you and Dad!!! So did you both get baths when you got home?
Tail wags, the OP pack
keep the good work Gus!
That is so exciting! You are a professional now, right? Sorry you had to share a ride with that stinker. Hope he took a B-A-T-H when he got home (and maybe throw Callie in just for good measure).
Slobbers,
Mango
