Here is a good example of how goofy Mom is. Can you see her. She is talking to Louie, telling him where to go. Dah Mom he is deaf!! He can't hear you.... He does have an unusual way of kind of knowing exactly what she is saying though. You think maybe the pup has some heeler instincts?

Yeah, humans are strange. Telling a deaf dog where to go does rate up there, but on the other hand, what else can she do?
We're glad to know your mom's photos were rescued when her hard drive died. When Jan got the warning, had she known WHICH hard drive was about to die, she could have moved her photos to the other one. She didnt' worry too much until she realized she only THOUGHT hers were saved on DVDs. She forgot her DVD drive had gone mental and wouldn't write.
we think that Louie can read lips. or maybe he is really really good at body language. or maybe he can read her mind. yeah, that's it - he's a mind reading dog. that's cool.

My mom talks to me and I've pretty much lost my hearing. She figures in case something goes through (I can hear certain pitches still) or if I can read lips. Mostly I know way more than she does, so I know what she's going to say before she says it. :)

That's because he's a heeler and smart!!!! Yeah Louie...herding goats! I got to herd sheep for an hour and a half today-and I was in the big field! It was awesome!
I leave mom's side now and go and round up the sheep when they escape! Of course they aren't supposed to escape, but they were a little unruly today!!
