The rain is really a welcome surprise since everything is so dry here in Texas. It has cooled things down quite a bit. Yahoo..

We are expecting that rain at the end of the week - we could use it too, but the lawn is going to get lots of work done on it Saturday, and Mom doesn't want it to be too muddy - heck, it's already pretty muddy.

Go Gus! I wish I had somewhere to take Riley swimming. All I really have is the beach but that's closed to dogs during certain parts of the year (all the hot parts...what good does that do me?). A lake would be nice.
