What are you doing Dad?

While Callie was herding the neighbors dog decided to make an appearance. A very large German Shepard, of course that little girl, thinking she was big and bad ruffled up the hair on her back and began to make this really low growl. Well in order to get her mind back on the goats Dad picked one up. Well it worked she didn't know what Dad was doing and again became interested in the goats..

How smart is your dad? Pretty clever if you ask us. He was able to fool Callie and that doesn't happen often.

WOW you got to herd goats too!

Your Dad if very smart.

Crazy Texas weather!! It always makes me laugh. Fort Worth is a ghost town! The roads were fine driving home at 5:30, but that didn't stop everyone from driving as slow as they could.

We don't have much ice in our trees yet... I would be in heaven if it snowed tonight. That would make it worth while for me... to see snow. I LOVE looking at ice in trees but hate it on the roads.

Snuggle up tight tonight cause it is sooooo cold out! We will take some pictures if the ice looks cool in the trees.

I hope you and your family are all home for the evening.

Guess Callie makes a good goat sitter/herder - knowing when to be concerned about one of her charges.

Big bad Callie. I don't blame you, you were minding your own business. Finally you had a chance to herd and that german shepherd came in to ruin it. Your dad sure knows you well. I wonder if that trick would have worked with gus or louie?

Goodness that goat looks very little. Was it a baby goat? or is my eyesight a little out of wack hehehe.
Anyway looks like it worked very well.

WOOOOHOOOOO..... ice day!

Well actually ice morning. I don't have to be at work until 11 a.m.

I hope that you and your family are staying home today. In Fort Worth the roads are bad. My friends husband works for the mint and had to go to work this morning and he said the roads are real bad.

Please stay safe and warm today!

That was smart thinking of your Dad. My Dad uses tricks liek that to get me refocused on what I'm supposed to be doing, too.

We've had loose neighbor dogs come running at us. Maybe we should have our mom carry a goat along on our walks! Woo.
