Through the "Z" shoot

This isn't a great picture but in herding there is something called a "Z" shoot which you need to move the sheep through in a controlled manner. Louie figured this out in no time. He actually got them through there three times. His favorite part of the sheep game is pushing them into a corner and holding them there. As you can see Louie isn't on lead and he isn't attacking those sheep. Show off!
He did chase the sheep a couple of times but he didn't manage to keep them all together..

As the big brother, you are just going to have to keep teaching and showing him how it should be done!

Happy Sunday!

Well done Louie. I think by the time Callie starts her herding lessons, she is going to do better than the 2 of you cos she would have already observed how the 2 of you has done it for so many times by then.

Gus!

Well, I must say, Louie's probably a lot better at herding sheep than I ever could be. Go Louie!

Louie can't hear so he doesn't have the distractions that the rest of us have. He can really focus on his herding. Will he become a master herder and sheep poop eater.

Woof Gus, Louie and Callie

So, this herding thing. Can you eat the sheep afterwards? Because, if that's the case, we'd like to learn. Hope you pups are doing well.

My mom is very impressed!! She wishes that we have sheep farms here in Singapore so that Hershey can try her paw at herding since it's supposed to be in her genes..

Yay Louie! Don't let those sheep go anywhere you don't want them to. I would like to meet some sheep and point at them.

Your friend,

How do you tell Louie what to do? Don't the trainers usually whistle? However it's done it sounds like Louie is doing a great job!

Louie that's awesome that you got the sheep thru the Z shoot three times!!! You're good at herding sheep-but I don't think you're a show-off!!! Maybe Gus would be better on cattle!
