Now Louie's in jail!

Although Louie appears to be in jail he really isn't.

We thought this would be a good liken to the way animals feel while waiting for rescue..

Baby Love's Mom at Justin Animal Shelter has put together a survey to find out what people are looking for in a rescue dog in order to be more successful at adopting her furry friends.

Please take a few moments to answer her survey.

Hi Louie--
Fenway here!

I just checked out your pack and the blogging is terrific. Baby Love's story brought tears to my alpha female's eyes, but she is such a softie that I am not at all surprised.

I have pics of me in dog "jail" on my blog: See the blog titled Gated Community. Also, did you see yesterday's post and pics? If you did, you can appreciate how lucky I am that my peeps laughed, took photos....and didn't banish me to jail. After all, I AM a puppy!

Today I have a training session with Jane at the Dog Spot in Georgetown. She's awesome and I really like her, but she commands so much respect I call her G.I. Jane. After my 45 minute training session I am sooo tired.I usually come right home and sleep for an hour afterwards

It takes so much energy for a border collie puppy to be good!

I do some volunteer work with homeless dogs and I would just like to urge people to listen to the volunteers when they want to adopt a dog. So many people just want the cute puppy instead of a dog that would be more suitable for them.

hi kids, being in jail is no fun at all. Bailey and Benson have to go in their kennels when mom isn't home to watch them cuz they are still healing their surgeried legs. we feel sorry for the animals in shelter too. that jail is even less fun cuz no mom is coming home to them for a long time. they are scared and confused. it makes us really sad.

woofs.

I was in a crate before coming to live with my mom and it was not funny! Being free and having a lovely home is priceless!
