We have a pretty day today. Lots of sunshine and a nice breeze.. Mom and Dad are being boring watching Football..
Mom did get busy yesterday and made all kinds of cookies for people at work. We did get to snack on a few crumbs.. Of course Mom caught the Pest in the middle of the kitchen table cleaning up.. Yepper Mom yelled and dah the Pest didn't hear her.. Consensus is Mom's cookies are pretty yummy...

Another nice day for zooming here in Texas. Mom got a text from Sis today, -1 degrees in Wisconsin. Luckily Sis said she had her long underwear on.. With those cool temps their 10 to 12 inches of snow is not going to go away anytime soon...

Callie, I will just stick by you Mom.. As you can see it was quite cold this am. Mom is all bundled up.. What is up with her doesn't she have her own fur coat like I do?
Louie, Mom I have the pretty white one.. She is a bit stubborn and doesn't want to stay with the herd but I will show her the right way..
Yes Mom is right it was a bit cold this am. Over cast and the wind was blowing. The weather man is saying even colder this afternoon with the lows in the 30's by tomorrow morning. Then on Sunday evening even colder with the 20's on Monday morning. Mom better get that fur coat ready...

Miss Cluckie..

The other day Mom came home from work to see Miss Cluckie on the other side of the street. Mom told her not to cross the street it was quite dangerous but she did. She actually came right up to Mom and let her pat on her. Mom went into the house and she actually thought she was going to follow her in.. Silly bird..
Norwood has these 2 legged birds in his neighborhood too so we thought we should share. Not sure if his Mom has ever gotten a chance to pat on them..
Now what is the Secret this time. Are they talking about Louie?
Louie, I am going to hide here behind the tree. I think there is a plot brewing against me..

We have a weird day today. It was cooler this AM then the sun came out and warmed things up. Now we have overcast if we were farther North we would be sure there was snow flurries in the forecast..

We have a cooler day today in Texas.. Perfect Heeler weather for zooming in the yard and NOT looking at Mom and that flashie beast..

The Pest

Mom and Dad did the old "wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey" thing this morning, but when it comes to pre-washing they aren't the best .........

Mom and I got home about 7:30AM this AM. Yepper we left Austin about 3:30 AM. We had an uneventful ride. The Red's were pretty excited to see us. We had to play a little round of zoomies right away.. I am guessing they did miss us....

Not sure what we are going to do with Louie, just something about that tail that needs to be chased. As one can see at the end of the video, Callie just hangs out wondering what is wrong with her brother .............

Typically, this is how "chase in the house" gets started, first Louie chases his tail then a full fledged hockey game breaks out. Guess the reds are still missing the blue man.

Signs of life

Well, Louie tired to lighten the mood around the house this evening, a bit more of what Dad is use to seeing when he arrives home in the evening.

I think the Red's have figured out dad's phone is a flashy beast in disguise, then tend to avoid him when he pulls the box out of his pocket ............

Did hear from Mom & Gus today, everyone is doing well, looking forward to coming home and sleeping in their own bed .

Depressed Puppies

WOW, talk about subdued dogs, I have two depressed puppies on my hand. No zooming, following Dad everywhere, continually running to the window looking for Mom & Gus, no barking when the cars go by, we have folks walking their dogs without a peep from the red's.

Dad is not use to a quiet house, and he hates it !!!
