Tomorrow Mom and Dad are staying home. Sis is moving to Wisconsin. She will be on her way on Saturday morning. Mom is trying to be brave and not leak but a few drops come out now and then.. Sis will be missed but MeMaw says she will take good care of her..

Yepper we found another one or was it the same one? He was hiding in the bushes and jump up onto the tree.. Why doesn't he want to come down and play with us?

We have a beautiful day here today.. It was 56 degrees this AM but now it is 76 degrees. We sure hope this weather lasts a few days...

Saturday, Fun Day..

Yepper we made it to the lake this afternoon. Mom got this picture during our long walk with her. She got new shoes for her step thing so we just had to take her to the lake so she could try them out..
Us men doing Man-stuff. Looking for those pesky squirrels.. There was one in the tree but escaped before Mom could snag a picture.. We are guessing he didn't want to come out and play the way he left so quickly.

Not much going on at the Heeler Ranch today.. It was a pretty nice morning. Mom got in quite a few steps at work without us.. What nerve is that?

Mom was working from home today. We had some plumbing issues going on so she had to wait for Mr. Rooter.. Luckily no water in the house..
Mom did take us on a nice long walk after he left. Mom is doing that 10,000 step thing again. She made us walk 5000 steps. We were dog tired when we got home. She thought it was kind of funny hearing all that panting when we got home. Of course we laid right down so she could do her work on that silly computer...

Mmm Apple pie bars..

Look what Mom made... The are called Dutch Apple Pie bars. She actually got the recipe out of her King Arthur's Flour cookbook but couldn't find it on the web site. This is an awesome site you need to check it out.. Lots of recipes. She found the recipe on a different site but it is almost the same.
Callie looking like she is up to something. I see those bars cooling there on the oven. Perhaps I need to jump up there for a taste?
Gus looking really innocent too.. I would never try and get those yummy smelling bars Mom. Honest!!
Louie, perhaps if I just look away she won't notice me checking out those bars.. She did drop an apple on the floor and I had to clean it up...

Mom's home...

Yepper Mom made it home last night around 6:30. We made sure she knew we had missed her. Lots of barking and jumping.. Dad didn't get his fancy phone out for a video.. :0(
Mom stayed home with us today. We even let her sleep late. Something about working all weekend blah, blah blah..

The pest

As it is the start of football season, Gus and Louie thought they should be doing some "man dog" things and play ball. However, Callie thought differently ...................... She did finally give it up, but not without some taunting first ........

Reds are at it again

Dad was pretty BORING today, he was busy getting everything ready to put in a microwave over the stove for mom. Dad is now waiting for some heavy lifting assistance.

Now we 3 however, ALWAYS made sure we stopped and gave dad that "what ?" look when he pulled out the camera. We did let dad manage one short video ...................

and now for something completely different

As dad is failing at finding "Norwood's Eye Watch Photo" he decided to try something different, seems he has video on his camera phone and just wanted to prove the little one is the instigator in the family.

As you can see at the end, she always gets the last word / butt in .

Mom is off to San Diego, posts are going to be late for a few days, we have a "dog sitter" checking on us through out the day,.
