I like the water!

Callie has to make sure she gets her time in the water when we are at the lake. Her favorite pastime is playing zoomies then running into the lake for a drink. Louie thinks she just has something wrong in the head. Maybe she should have been a setter?
We have a cool windy day today so it doesn't look like we will make it to the lake. Darn, maybe tomorrow...

What is it?

We always find something at the lake. Callie just couldn't figure out what I had found. There was some tasty bones under there, but I got them before she had a chance..
We didn't make it to the lake. It is trying to rain out there so we stayed home. Maybe tomorrow!

We thought we would play the Bae Bae game today. Hiding at the lake.

We have 91 degrees today. It is almost as if Summer is here already. We sure hope it holds out till tomorrow so we can get to the lake after mom comes home..

Louie didn't like the sticks on the beach so he decided that he should go get his own in the water. He spent quite a bit of time trying to pull this one out of the water..

Water zooming?

Callie isn't the only one that likes the water. She is trying to keep up with me as I cool my feet.. You need to be a little faster Girl!!
Oh it was beautiful at the lake last night. Just a perfect evening for playing in the water and hunting for treasures. Today although the sun is shinning it is a bit cool and that nasty wind is really blowing out there..

Louie you hold her and I will take her down!!! We had a great time at the like tonight. As you can see we ganged up on the little pest just a bit.. It was all in fun..

Something is tasty1

Mom caught me licking my lips at the lake. I had just finished some yummy bones that some stupid human had left behind.. What is wrong with them leaving perfectly good bones behind?
Dad says when Mom gets home tomorrow we might get to go back to the lake. We sure hope it doesn't rain..

Syncronize Jump!

Callie and Louie appear to be practicing for the paw-lympics again. They both seem to be going the same way together again!
We have beautiful weather outside again. It is in the 60's and the sun is shinning. Hopefully it will hold up till this weekend and we can go to the lake again..

Ya I passed!

I went with Dad to a herding trial yesterday. This isn't a picture from yesterday but Mom thought she needed to post a picture of me with sheep since that is what I was doing. It was a very long day since I was the last one to do my run. Also I was the only Cattle dog in the competition. Well I did a great run and I passed. Woo Hoo.. The judges were really impressed with me. I did and actual controlled run! I also must point out that I was NOT on a lead in the trial..

I got her Mom!

Louie is always keeping his eyes on his sister while we are at the lake. He thinks that if he has her by the leash she won't get to far..
Dad and Gus are off doing a P.T. trial today. We are just waiting around to see how he did. We sure hope they get back soon. Don't tell Gus but we really do miss them..

Hey Wait for me!

That little girl is always off doing her own thing. Then she is busy trying to catch up. What are we going to do with her? As you can see she should have been a lab or a setter. She loves the water no mater how deep..

We are still busy looking for Dad a job. We think that a job at the lake would be just the best. Then we can all go to work..
Well we made it to Friday. Not a big weekend planned. Mom has to work so it probably will be quite boring waiting for her to come home..

What is it?

Callie and Louie spotted some some ducks on the lake and of course being "duck dogs" NOT they thought they should chase them.. They tried but they just weren't fast enough. " Hey Callie perhaps we can find Dad a job chasing ducks?" "Louie maybe they will pay Dad to dig in the dirt? He likes doing that."

We have a cloudy day today. Warm but it is trying to muster up some rain..

The sun is setting on our fun..

Mom and Dad let us stay at the lake Friday night until the sun decided to set. We didn't mind anytime at the lake is a good time..

More herding..

And who said that deaf dogs could't herd.. It appears Louie has everything under control here.
He is so proud when he brings those sheep back to mom..
Oh and look at me! I got those sheep shivering in their hooves.

As you can see we went herding again today. This was Callie's second time out and she did awesome. She is a natural at the "outrun" She always keeps all the goats together, covering when one decides to try and escape. Lori says she as lots of natural instincts..
Oh Lori had baby lambs. Actually one was born last night. He is all black with just a tip of white on his tail way to cute..

Look at what we got!

Look at what we got from Three Dogs and a Chick! Don't they look yummy? Each one is heart shaped and it has our names on them. Isn't that wonderful? We are all excited.. Mom says we have to wait to eat them though until Dad comes home. And guess what.. Then we are going to the lake...
We have a beautiful day today, maybe a bit windy but just perfect lake weather....

Queen Callie?

The water is getting quite low at the lake so this big piece of cement was out of the water. Callie thought she would play queen up there on it. She could see me and Louie playing near by..

I am still the oldest and the fastest among the heeler's as you can see. Callie was off doing her own thing and didn't want to get in on the race. She would have lost anyway. You see I know because I am the biggest brother...

There are all kinds of different smells at the lake. You never know what you might find. From fish bones to perfectly good beef or chicken bones..
We had a great time at the lake on Friday night. Of course Mom and Dad were happy since we took a nap when we got home..
