Mom spoke to soon about the weather. It is hot again today. They are saying really HOT this weekend.. We sure hope that weatherman is wrong again...

Mom's home...

Mom's home and Louie is on patrol to keep her really safe...

Gus also is pretty lax in his job.
Yepper Mom made it home last night around 6:30. We made sure she knew we had missed her. Lots of barking and jumping.. Dad didn't get his fancy phone out for a video.. :0(
Mom stayed home with us today. We even let her sleep late. Something about working all weekend blah, blah blah..

The pest

As it is the start of football season, Gus and Louie thought they should be doing some "man dog" things and play ball. However, Callie thought differently ...................... She did finally give it up, but not without some taunting first ........

Reds are at it again

Dad was pretty BORING today, he was busy getting everything ready to put in a microwave over the stove for mom. Dad is now waiting for some heavy lifting assistance.

Now we 3 however, ALWAYS made sure we stopped and gave dad that "what ?" look when he pulled out the camera. We did let dad manage one short video ...................

and now for something completely different

As dad is failing at finding "Norwood's Eye Watch Photo" he decided to try something different, seems he has video on his camera phone and just wanted to prove the little one is the instigator in the family.

As you can see at the end, she always gets the last word / butt in .

Mom is off to San Diego, posts are going to be late for a few days, we have a "dog sitter" checking on us through out the day,.

How does Dad feel when he arrives home, I think the photo explains things well, can you say "surrounded" !?!?!

We have rain today so Mom pulled up a few more pictures of us enjoying the sunshine and the lake on Sunday..
The rain is really a welcome surprise since everything is so dry here in Texas. It has cooled things down quite a bit. Yahoo..

Football Season?

Are you ready for some football? It has to be football season we found this nice football at the lake.. It was kind of hard to hold on to but us heeler's figure out the right technique..

We hurried out to a different Park this AM. This park is kind of out of the way so Mom was able to walk us down the shoreline and let us have some fun in the water.. Now it is time for a nap. That swimming sure does take a lot out of us..

To the Lake..

Callie spotted this guy on our walk. He didn't even fly. We are sure he noticed that we were on leashes and Mom had a good hold on us..
What a nice morning we had for a walk. We were a bit disappointed there was lots of people and other dogs so no off leash fun in the water.. Mom did get a picture of us cooling out feet.. Of course Louie doesn't really want to get his feet wet.. He stayed close to shore..

We have some beautiful weather out there. It is like 86 degrees with a nice cool breeze. We heard Mom say something about a date with Dad tomorrow at the lake...

We have cooler weather in Texas today. A thunderstorm came through this AM and cooled everything down. What a relief. We just hope it lasts for a while..

Well we are back to the hot weather. We did have a bit of a break last week but not anymore.. We are still hoping for an early Fall..

We put Toph on the plane this AM. Mom was a little leaky, go figure.. Mom and Dad came home with groceries after the trip to the airport so natural we are sure they traded Toph for groceries..

We have had a nice visit with brother Toph this week. Sadly he has to return to Wisconsin in the AM.. Mom will be sad but we will find some way to cheer her up...
