Look at this funny looking creature

While we were out touring last weekend we came across this really funny looking thing. It had a very hard shell and it could hide its head in it. Mom said it was a painted turtle. We found it in the middle of the road so Dad quickly got out and sent him on his way. Mom and Dad were afraid that someone might run him over with a car and he would not make it to his destination.
