Louie Caved

Yup, that is right, we were still giving Dad the silent treatment until Louie caved. But it wasn't all his fault, Dad was giving him a back rub and he couldn't help himself, just had to tuck his tail and run.

Silent treatment

We are giving dad the silent treatment for trading off mom for a gallon of milk. Every time he brings out his camera to capture us zooming, we just stop and look at him as if to say "What." walk away, lay down, then stare at him with our evil eyes ................

She did it again

Yep, that is right, mom went back to Vancouver, training she said, we think Dad just traded her for a gallon of milk.

Helping Mom..

How you help Mom work from home!
First you make sure she is on a conference call. Then you start barking, chasing your tail and playing zoomies in the house. All of this so everyone on the call can hear.
Next you make sure Mom starts yelling at the deaf dogs still while on the conference call! Dah Mom deaf dogs we don't hear you..
Then to top it all off you go to the backdoor and start barking again as if you have to go out to do your business only to go out once Mom gets up and opens the door and turn right back around as if to say "I am just kidding Mom"
After Mom hangs up from said call you do this!!

Thanks for a wonderful day Mom!!!
After this we would really like to wish Dad and Auntie Carrie a very Happy Birthday.. We can't tell you how old they are for fear being deprived of treats but lets say they are older than dirt..
Oh Dad would want us to be sure and say that Auntie Carrie is 7 minutes older than he is..

Checking things out..

Callie, These things are pretty tasty Mom. I don't understand why Dad doesn't like me eating them.
Louie, How do you like my sheep dog pose?
Gus, Mom when are we going to plant something in this garden? It must be time for something as nice as the weather is these days..
Yes Gus we are having really nice weather these days. The temps are in the 70's again today. We haven't heard what the weatherman has to say about it but we sure hope it is good...

Saturday..

Callie watching the boys...

The boys checking out the neighbors yard..
As you can see all our snow is gone. It was quite warm today. Probably in the 60's. Of course along with the snow leaving comes the mud. Mom and Dad have been busy vacuuming up fur and washing the footprints off the floors.. We sure don't know were those footprints came from or that fur.. Dad also thinks he vacuumed up another heeler. Dad where did that come from. Mom says she sure is glad she has no carpet in the house..

Random pic's..

Callie in stalking mode.. I don't look fat do I?
Louie, I am a happy dog with my ball..
Gus, Just looking blue today..
That weatherman is still saying we will get more freezing rain tonight. 70% chance of precipitation tonight and 80% tomorrow.. Right now there is not a cloud in the sky so perhaps that weatherman is wrong. Mom has already told us she is working from home tomorrow no matter what the weatherman says. Ya mom will be home with us all day..

Gus, where did all the snow go Mom?
Callie trying to sniff it out!
Louie, it was here yesterday...
Yepper our temps warmed up so all the snow is gone. Mostly we have mud out there.. Of course the weatherman is saying more sleep on Wednesday..
We are Happy Heeler's today.. The Packer's hung in there and won the Superbowl. What a great game..

More Snow today..

Callie, What is this stuff Mom? It is stuck to my nose...
Gus, I got you by the collar Pest..
The boys must see something in all this snow. Louie do you have a cold foot?
Gus, this stuff is fun to play in..
We woke to about 3 inches of snow this am and it continued most of the day.. We ended up with about 6 inches.. Now the sun is out and it all is melting away. We need to get Mom out there to play some more before it is all gone..

We still have snow..

Come on Gus lets play..
Ok maybe you want to play to rough...
Louie, I just like to feel this stuff between my toes...
We had a trying day yesterday. The power went out about 7 AM and didn't come back on until 9:30. Of course they called it rolling blackouts because of all the power consumption with the freezing temperatures.. We were told that it would last about 15 minutes. Well they lied. 2.5 hours of course the temp in the house dropped to 63 degrees. Mom was bundled up in quilts and we were doing our best to keep her warm.. After the power did come on we had no cable so Mom and Dad's attempt to work from home didn't work. More blackouts occurred every few hours during the day.. The cable did not return until 10:30 last night..
Tonight we are supposed to get more snow so Mom and Dad will probably attempt to work from home again since the roads are still quite icy..
