Heeler's after herding sheep...

Louie sacked out on the couch...
Callie snoozing under the chair...
Gus laying close to the cool fireplace brick...
Yepper the Heeler's do wind down once in a while. We know you all find that unbelievable but here is the proof.. Let these pups herd for a few hours and they are the best behaved dogs ever...

Callie girl sizing up the sheep...
Louie, Come on Mom their over here!!
Gus has everything under control..
We had a beautiful day for herding today although we did have rain last night it quit in time for us to head out... All three heelers did and awesome job.. Callie is finally slowing down a bit with a little help from the long lead. Louie was amazing today. Finally trying to keep all the sheep together instead of scattering them. Gus is listening a lot more if Dad could keep the "go bys and the away with me's" straight.. Mom thinks Dad has a bit of an advantage over her since she always runs with the deaf ones..

Not that brush again?
Well it is still raining here.. We sure wish the sun would come out so we can do some more zooming and brush tug-a-war..
Mom says the rain is good for the garden. The tomatoes are really looking good. They even have a few flowers on them. The bean are like a foot tall. The cucumbers are just popping up along with the dill and brussel sprouts. Well the onions are hanging in there. The few that weren't run over by a few heeler's at play..

Secrets?

Louie, I don't hear you!!!
Gus, I am just not listening to you..
We have a rainy day here in Texas.. We are kind of disappointed since we were suppose to go herding today... Something about wet dogs and sheep smell on the ride home... Oh well maybe next week...
