Two Red's listening? Mom this thing smells funny.. Isn't there suppose to be cement here?
Gus, Mom can you please get them to come back? I don't like this at all..
Well we had rain last night and then again this AM so no cement was poured.. The Heeler's are sure wishing they would hurry up so we can play zoomies on this thing...
One good thing is that the weather has cooled off a bit and the garden really needed the rain..

Forms are up...

Forms are in place, now we just need the cement.. We sure will have fun playing on this deck...
Callie, seeing if she fits in there. Yepper I fit. I think it is going to look really nice after they pour the cement..

Gus, I am not to sure about that form. Mom had to coax me to get me to walk through it to come inside..
Hopefully the truck will come tomorrow to pour the cement and we will have a new patio by the end of the week...

Mom and Dad are busy putting molding in the laundry room.. How boring that is for us pups. We did check out how dirty it was under there!! Mom we think you need to fire the maid. Oh ya, you are the maid!!!

Another hot day here in Texas. We had a few sprinkles or rain yesterday that didn't amount to anything.
The patio dudes didn't show up yesterday so we are hoping to have a little excitement on Monday...

We had a bit of rain this AM but Mr. Heat has arrived again..

Mom is busy waiting for those dudes to show up and put the forms up for our new patio. Guess they have forgotten about the dirt hole we have out back..

Yepper we are all wondering where the patio has gone. Some men came out yesterday with a very noisy machine, (Red's, we felt the vibrations) and tore it all up.. Now all that is left is dirt.. Mom says they will be out tomorrow to put up forms for our new patio. Maybe this one won't hold water like the old one!
We finally have some overcast today so it is cooler like 86 degrees.. We sure hope this will last a while and maybe a little rain!

Before we get to the fun, Mom just had to show you the yummy ribs that Dad made for Pappy's Day.. They certainly tasted as good as they looked.. Now..

Well we had a cold front come through today. It was only 97 when Mom headed home from work...

Not to much happening here in Heelerville today. Another hot day. Dad did get out earlier and mowed the weeds, oh grass.. Dad has ribs cooking on the grill for Pappy's Day..
We would like to say Happy Pappy's Day to all the dog Dad's out there. Hope you are all getting pampered like you deserve...

We're bored...

Gus, Mom I am trying not to look at you. I am bored.. I will just lay here and wait for Dad to come home. He is off to the Home Depot.. They must have lots of cool toys there since he goes there a lot...

Hot again today. We don't really have any plans for the weekend. Sure wish we were back in Wisconsin it is much cooler there..

A few Zoomies in the heat..

Louie didn't think it was to hot to play a bit of zoomies.. He managed to carry on for a few minutes.. Gus thought he was pretty silly wanting to play when it is so hot..
Callie decided to get in on it. She is always up for zoomies..
100 degrees out there so we didn't play to long. We were happy to come in the house and enjoy the AC for a while...

We did manage to get a bit of rain early this am. Mom got up to take us out at 2 am and it was actually raining. We had cooler temps this about 72 but Mr. Sun arrived in early afternoon and it is HOT again.. It was a welcome rain though...

Mom's Bug registered 100 degrees on the way home today. She came home and let us out but it is just to hot to play zoomies..
Mom is busy building a dark chocolate cake. Dad and her are celebrating their 30th Anniversary. We can't even imagine how long that is? Happy A-day Mom and Dad...
